Nitrogen and Phosphorus are fundamental elements when it comes to handling soil and crops. Their particular behavior affects the fertility of the soil and the development of crops more than any other nutrient. Nitrogen compounds move fast inside the soil, so there are losses and they often are a limiting factor regarding the sufficient nutrition of plants. On the other hand, the strong retention and low solubility of Phosphorus render it the hardest element to move in the soil and hinder its intake by plants. A smooth supply of Nitrogen and Phosphorus to crops requires technical expertise in the chemical industry, so that the produced fertilizers provide nutrients in compatible and absorbable forms to plants.
All the particular characteristics of Nitrogen and Phosphorus have been taken into consideration in the design of Nutriphos® NP, and the products developed ensure the maximum availability of these elements in the soil. Their specialized process of production achieves very high solubility (90%) of Phosphorus and increases its absorption by the crops. Nitrogen is contained in its entirety, or for the most part, in Ammoniacal form, prolonging nutrition, while the additional enrichment in Sulfur improves its utilization by the plants and enhances the efficiency of fertilizing.
Nutriphos® are an ideal source of Phosphorus for plants in all types of soil. Especially in the neutral and alkaline soils, they have a significant advantage to the Nitrophosphate fertilizers which do not meet the demands of the neutral and alkaline soils
- Products
Compound NP fertilizer rich in Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Sulphur. It contains the whole (100%) quantity of Nitrogen in Ammoniacal form, thereby ensuring optimum supply to the culture through the entire duration of vegetative growth.
90% of the Phosphorus is contained as monocalcium orthophosphate, the form with the highest water solubility and absorption from the plants. The precise content, proportion and special formula of the nutrients, render Nutriphos® classic the top basic NP fertilizer.
It is ideal for the basic fertilization of winter and spring cereals, industrial plants, as well as multiannual arboricultures in soil with low Phosphorus content.

Compound NP fertilizer with Calcium and Magnesium. It combines the advantages of an NP fertilizer and the properties of a soil conditioner. Rich in Calcium and Magnesium developed in order to ensure reliable nutrition for cultures in acidic soil.
Its chemical composition protects the plants’ root system from the harmful effects of acidity, whilst promoting Nitrogen nitrification which is repressed under acidic conditions.
Nutriphos® oxisoil, in combination with Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, constitute the best choice for this soil type and specifically for the culture of winter cereals.

Compound NP fertilizer with a balanced ratio of Nitrogen and Phosphorus, and with high Sulphur content.
The total amount of Nitrogen contained (100%) is in Ammoniacal form, ensuring excellent nutrition of crop for the duration of sprouting. The Phosphorus available (90% water-soluble) ensures the growth of a robust root system while boosting flowering and fruit setting.
The additional enrichment with Sulphur improves the absorption of Ammoniacal nitrogen, while it also participates in the synthesis of proteins and vitamins.
Its elemental composition and acidic properties make it an ideal choice for the basic fertilization of field crops, arboriculture and horticulture in soils with high calcium content and high alkalinity.

- Mode of action
Nitrogen in Nutriphos® NP is contained in its entirety or for the most part in Ammoniacal form, while Phosphorus in the most water-soluble and absorbable form for plants, that of Monocalcium orthophosphate.
Once the granule of the fertilizer comes in contact with the soil, the Phosphorus contained absorbs water and it is hydrolyzed, forming an acid solution of three compounds. Two of these compounds enter the soil solution and immediately supply the plants. The third Phosphorus compound functions as a “reserve”, and it covers the demands of the crop during the later stages of their development. The presence of Ammoniacal Nitrogen and Sulfur creates synergy between the elements, reduces immobility, and increases the efficiency of fertilizing.
This action mechanism makes Nutriphos® the best source of Phosphorus for plants and unique fertilizers for the requirements of all soils.

Nutriphos® NP are high-quality compound multinutrient fertilizers. They uniquely combine the prolonged action of Ammoniacal Nitrogen with the most absorbable form of Phosphorus, increasing the efficiency of fertilizing.
